We start the day at the shore of the beautiful Lake of Brienz. After a brief overview of the different flies, lines and rods used in modern flyfishing, we setup our rods, step to the water and start casting - step by step under close supervision of your guide. Within two hours you should be able to perform two of the most common casts: overhead- and roll-cast to a distance of 20-30ft. After a short snack we drive to the local trout fishing pond, a beautiful natural reserve stocked with rainbows, browns and mountain char up to 10 lb. You spend the afternoon casting dry flies to raising trout visible in the clear water. As the day comes to an end, your guide prepares a barbecue feast of your first catch on a fly, while you sit back in the evening sun, reviewing your fishing experience with your friends.
